Common Wealth Charlotte
Common Wealth Charlotte is a nonprofit based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Their mission is to be a catalyst for improving lives by equipping people with certified financial counseling, skills for building wealth, trauma-informed education, access to bank accounts, and more.
I worked with Common Wealth Charlotte to design assets and write brief descriptions for their Financial Health Workplace program and their KnowMore Podcast.
Financial Health Workplace Assets
Financial Health Workplace (FHW) is one of Common Wealth Charlotte’s programs that provides financial resources and support to employees of participating companies. I was tasked with creating a newsletter graphic and brief description as well as some social images for partnering companies to use.
Newsletter Graphic & Description
I designed a gold seal graphic to display the authenticity of the Financial Health Workplace certification. I incorporated this gold seal in a newsletter graphic to accompany the summary I wrote describing what a Financial Health Workplace is. These assets are designed to be used in internal company newsletters.
Description
As a Certified Financial Health Workplace with Common Wealth Charlotte, we now provide you with resources designed to support and strengthen your economic stability - at no cost to you. These benefits include certified credit counseling, income tax filing assistance, an emergency loan program, a homeowner savings program, and more! We value our employees’ holistic health, and this is just one more step towards that mission. Description
KnowMore is a podcast that brings Charlotte’s nonprofit leaders, civic influencers, and community stakeholders together to discuss economic challenges affecting people in our city. Chuck Jones, the Executive Director of Common Wealth Charlotte, hosts this podcast and creates space to explore solutions that will empower listeners to say, “no more!” to economic inequality.
